Week 2 was definitely better than week 1. Their Tagalog songs are still leaps and bounds better than the new English songs. Sana maisip ng management ng yung mga Pinoy composers nila ay better than the western songs they keep buying.
The tagalog songs had distinct sound and steps. Lalo na ung salamin-salamin.Very remarkable. Ung iba parang pare-pareho so mejo mahirap idistinguish from each other. But still they tried their best to perform. Sana lang may magawa pa silang tatatak din like pantropiko and salamin from now on lalo pa global stage tlga target nila. Sana din maging mahinahon din sila at wag pumatol masyado sa sns
Each BINI member has their own charisma & x-factor. Maloi looks like Frankie(daughter of Megastar) & Sheena looks like a mix of Kristi Noem & Sarah G. Awesome performance at Coachella. Congrats BINI!
No wonder hirap ma conquer ng Filipino musicians ang world stage in a long run, kapwa pinoy tindi maka nega. Dito pa lang yan sa FP. Sa FB grabeh katoxican! Nung nag sabog ng inggit sa mundo, daming percentage na sinalo ng Filipinos. Let BINI shine and stop raining on their parade just because your lives sux!
Performance-wise, hindi naman pinahiya ang mga pinoy. Definitely hindi sila inferior, pero hindi din sila the best of the best out there gaya ng pagha-hype sa kanila. Real talk lang, not bashing. What they need though are hit songs na makaka connect sa non-pinoys if they want to be known globally.

ReplyDeleteI don't blame them, I blame their management. Ung management gusto nila maconquer ang mga puti. So they kept getting songs made by western composers.
