    1. Siguro he find solace doing it. When I lost a loved one due to a critical illness I felt comfort and purpose connecting with people na may pamilyang may ganong karamdaman din. So I get him. Coping mechanism nya rin tumulong

    2. Some people do that to honor the life and memory of a loved one

Buti nga tulong pang pa check-up binigay at hindi pera. Kasi baka lalong dumugin siya

    3. Pwedeng isa sa problema niya sa buhay is magulang niya, di mo naisip yon?!?

And there are some na ayaw nila maging pabigat sa ibang tao. Like me. I can't for the life of me unload to people close to me. There's shame, or guilt baka isipin nila nakakadagdag sila sa dalhin ko and fear of being dismissed lang at sabihin magdasal ka na lang iha. I had to seek other options.

    5. 1011 minsan tawag dyan pride. You true loved ones can handle it. Share with them not only the good but the bad also. unless babaw mg tingin mo sa kanila na feeling mo dagdag ka pa and they can’t handle it na. something to think about lang ha, another point to consider. loved want to and will help kahit sa maliit na paraan - kahit smile or hug lang.

    6. 1023 It happened to me. My family and my friends were the caused of my depression. Wala akong matakbuhan, sa bahay, sa school. Wala. After 3 decades, I'm still alive. I still couldn't believe how did I make ir.

      5:17 Please be kind.

Some parents are incapable and they could be toxic which could cause the triggers of suicidal attempts for someone who is already depressed.
I had tried to end my life a few times before sa pagslash ng wrist.

    2. @5:52 kaka internet mo yan.. and I’m nit even kidding! I’m studying right now and thesis namin yan. Parents are blocked by social media now, that’s how strong its influence, kaya kids are being raised by tiktok not by mom and dad, which very sad:

    3. Social media daw muna bago mga magulang

    4. 1223 Thesis mo pala yan. You are studying? Why are you so cruel to people with suicidal tendencies? Do you understand your thesis? Do you understand the purpose of a thesis? It's not just a requirement.

  4. Sana lang hindi magamit si Kuya Kim at ang mental health for the views and likes.

    2. Hindi iisang tao ang pwedeng mahirapan or same ng pinagdadaanan. Judgmental much?

    5. Paanong same wording? If it’s about the use of common terms eh hindi mo naman maaalis yun noh

  6. Glad that kuya Kim helps but I hope this is a wake up call for our government to basically step up with these kind of issues. Yung tipo bang mas iadvertise nila at paigtingin yung agency na makakatulong professionally sa mga may mental health issues and mental health illness because end of the day, tao lang si kuya Kim and he can’t help them all. In addition, Kuya Kim might be knowledgeable but he’s still not a licensed or professionally equipped.

  10. Bless you, Kuya Kim. I hope hindi sya ma burn out since it would be a trend that people who needs psych help would run to him. Even psychiatrist and psychologists need a break and a session regularly to keep them grounded. Hopefully he can build an NGO or non profit that can handle more of this cases so he can help more and he won't be burnt out.

  11. Based on experience, the biggest struggle of someone with mental health issues sa Pinas is getting help.

1- it’s expensive to have regular therapy sessions. Ang nangyayari tuloy, shortcut, i.e., getting dependent on meds, or just stop the sessions suddenly, even without the advise of the therapist. Don’t know which of the two is worse, but both are definitely not good for the patient. Just wondering, is such covered and be claimed under PhilHealth? Do health insurances in the country have coverage for mental illnesses? Do employers provide such assistance to their employees and their dependents? All these would have helped alleviate the cost for therapy sessions.

2- not having enough free support for citizens and knowledgeable first responders to calls. Because of #1 issue, kahit mag-resort to calling those numbers published for free assistance, minsan walang nasagot or hindi alam pano tumanggap ng call. The most they can do is give you another contact where you have to pay for consultation.

3- people not getting educated on mental health illness. Not all mental health illness needs meds. Mostly, even if you need to take meds, regular therapy sessions are needed. And it’s not always the case that you will have the first therapist you meet as the most “capable” or matched to handle your case. So, once you feel like you are, or a patient close to you is, not getting better after few sessions, search for another therapist. Also, follow through outside the sessions is very important, so if people close to the patient don’t understand and know what to do, there will be slow progress or patient may not even get better but worse.

Kaya if you have people close to you who are struggling mentally, it’s important to get them to regular therapy, know their diagnosis, research about it, and work with the therapist.

  12. KK knows the pain of losing loved ones through self-elimination. What he couldn't do for his daughter, he does for others. It's a good deed, a form of redemption in the name of his daughter.

  13. kuya Kim i hope you do this privately. unfortunately maraming forda clout lang jan. like a lot of things, dahil lang sa iilan nasisira ang lahat. not only would be burnt out helping, baka mapunta lang attention mo sa mga hindi naman talaga nangangailangan ng tulong. tutal, nabanggit mo naman na, it's awareness enough naman na. pero keep it up, saludo po ako sa inyo
