  2. Grabe, this just doesn't show how loyal we are with our employers (most of the time) but shows how young looking Filipinas/ Asians look like! hahaha I always get ID'd here in west when I am buying sharp tools or alcohol lol. (Apologies if I sound superficial) gandang ganda talaga kasi ako kay ate!

    1. Sa tingin mo te tatagal yan ng 16 years if her employers didn’t treat her very well? Her face says it all.

    2. I think magkaiba ang compensate at treat. Reading comprehension baks 12:50.

    4. I get you. Brits are respectful and polite people especially sa working time. But when it comes to money? Nahhh...Ebenezer Scrooge is real πŸ˜‰

  6. "The pride of the Philippines"! - are housekeepers? Yes, I know its just an expression , a term of endearment but still - This doesn't make me feel proud. If only she was given opportunity, she could've done more.

    1. Whatever profession, we should be proud. Filipinos are always recognized as honest and vey hardworking people.

    2. Could have done more? All around siya at pinagkakatiwalaan.

    4. 2:41 thats bc you’re stuck in the title and not about the message. Loyalty isn’t something to be taken lightly. Someone committing their service for 16 yrs to one employer should be celebrated.

Loyal. Masipag. Kumbaga jack of all trade. Kaya nasabi nya pride ng pinas kasi yung katangian. Tingnan mo yung positive side.

    8. Hoy, what’s so wrong about being a housekeeper and being proud of it? Marangal na trabaho yan and it looks like she’s being compensated and treated well. Ang taas naman ng lipad mo to look down on housekeepers.

    9. Tingin ko naman yung sinabi nya implies on a positive note. I think he wants to emphasize how loyal and hardworking si Ate, and that's a good trait na gusto nya ipaalam sa lahat.

    1. Baka naman may ibang persona si Piers off cam? Like mabait naman. Pwede kasing ganon minsan. I’m not a fan ha kasi he’s an a-hole talaga sa mga commentaries niya pero baka lang naman.. otherwise kasi may nagsilabasan ng news if gano siya kagago, Brit media pa, mas masahol pa sa tabloids dito sa Pinas magbalita.

  8. His ego is enorm. This doesnt make him a noble person. A blatant act of foot forward self centeredness showing it as a form of kindness. This is an example of silent racial discrimanation and quite a form of slavery.

  9. Bongga.

  10. Ano kayang skin care ni Ate Cory? Grabe! Parang teenager lng! Happy birthday po!

  11. Filipinos abroad are known to be hardworking and loyal. No matter what your job description is, pag Pinoy, maaasahan talaga sa trabaho.

  13. 2:41 i think what he means is our hard working OFW is the pride of the Phil.

  14. agree; hindi nkk-proud matawag na “pride of Philippines’” kung ang main export natin ay “helpers”; once upon a time, Oxford (Brit english translated dictionary) had defined Filipina as household help; ito talaga nakaka-panlumo, walang national and self-pride ang Pilipino; 80% kapit sa patalim ang sitwasyon; basta hindi nkk-proud but very big check for Cory’s loyalty and diligence

    2. True!

    3. Ppl like you are just very negative and toxic

      Delete

Helpers/Nannies are all decent jobs, masyado kasi kayong mapangmata and obsess sa status level sa mundo.

If you’re salty because you think they’re generalising Philippines for being known to be helpers, what can you expect? Andaming mahirap sa Pinas, andaming hindi nakatapos ng pag aaral because of how unhelpful our government is sa educational programs and yet you’re shocked how well we’re known as helpers? Wake up sa realidad. Your ego was just hurt. I live in England and working as an engineer, whenever I hear someone from my workplace commending about their Filipino neighbours or Filipino helpers, the only emotional I feel is happiness because we’re able to touch people’s lives in best way possible

    1. Kaya nga.. lwk nidadown yung pagiging DH. Eh totoo naman talaga na karamihan satin ganun ang work abroad and there IS NOTHING WRONG with that! Pinoy talaga. I’ll effin follow the money literally and I dont care if maliitin ako ng kapwa ko Pinoy. Lels
