I'm so sorry for lgbtq community. There's no such thing as transition. The long term effect of this transition is something not talked about widely by the media. Gender dysphoria isn't treated by "changing". A lot of the patients who have gone thru this procedure have reported feeling more lonely and the gender dysphoria felt worse. There's a study conducted during the Obama admin by the medicaid/medicare and have reported no improvement in quality of life. Unfortunately, hollywood or the media doesn't talk about the AFTER effect so pls consider before you mutilate your body. This is the type of decision you make in your life that is irreversible.

I think this is the difference between older and the younger generation. Most millennials for example, they were exposed to the reality of life. They learned it the hard way. Mental health issue ito. May anak ung kapitbahay namin na magandang bata. Lagi syang crush ng mga boys sa school nila kaya nabully sya ng mga girls na akala nyang friends nya. Lumjpat sya ng school hoping mas ok. Pero since maliit lang ang area, pinagkalat ng ex ftiends nya ung pambubully sa kanya. Naging suicidal ang bata. In the end sinabi nya sa mommy nya na gusto nya mahing transman. Pinabayaan sya ng doctors mag hormones at 16yo. Di ko alam if natuloy ung pag remove ng breasts. After a few yrs tumigil sa hormones at bumalik sa pahiging babae. Peto iba na itsura nya. Di na ung katulad dati na maganda
I don’t have anything about hormone therapy or changing their bodies pero sana naghintay after 25 years old when the frontal lobe is fully developed and they are better equipped to make the right decision about themselves and they get to know who they really are and how they want to associate themselves with.

ReplyDeletepag bata talaga nagkakaron ng confusion minsan kung ano ba gusto nila. or kung ano o sino ba sila. maraming factors pwede maka apekto. i guess she was never comfortable to be a girl to begin with. when she was young she was such a cute girl. probably something happened and her beauty was not appreciated as much as she'd like. i don't know i bet she was compared to her mom a lot. whatever he chooses. hope he does not regret it for the rest of his life.

ReplyDeleteI think this is the difference between older and the younger generation. Most millennials for example, they were exposed to the reality of life. They learned it the hard way. They grew up to be independent and at the same time they know their limits when it comes to exercising their freedom. The younger generation kasi, they were really pampered and sheltered kaya when reality hits them, it was overwhelming. Idagdag mo pa yung too much freedom na binigay sa kanila especially when making big decisions in life.

DeleteYung millenials din yung mga binubugbog at ipinapahiya ng tatay pag nalamang bakla ang anak. So they end up repressing themselves at mag asawa nalang amd act normal to be acceoted. They never felt free pero kailangan magconform nalang so as not to break the peace in the family.

ReplyDeleteMental health issue ito. May anak ung kapitbahay namin na magandang bata. Lagi syang crush ng mga boys sa school nila kaya nabully sya ng mga girls na akala nyang friends nya. Lumjpat sya ng school hoping mas ok. Pero since maliit lang ang area, pinagkalat ng ex ftiends nya ung pambubully sa kanya. Naging suicidal ang bata. In the end sinabi nya sa mommy nya na gusto nya mahing transman. Pinabayaan sya ng doctors mag hormones at 16yo. Di ko alam if natuloy ung pag remove ng breasts. After a few yrs tumigil sa hormones at bumalik sa pahiging babae. Peto iba na itsura nya. Di na ung katulad dati na maganda
ReplyDeleteI don’t have anything about hormone therapy or changing their bodies pero sana naghintay after 25 years old when the frontal lobe is fully developed and they are better equipped to make the right decision about themselves and they get to know who they really are and how they want to associate themselves with.
