1220 - umay ka why? ano problema mo? you can just skip this article and move on sa usual chismis na hanap mo. napaka insensitive ng mga taong tulad mo geez!
Representation matters. Naalala ko yung diabetic Barbie and good idea kasi Barbie is a doll that represents beauty standards and kids should feel beautiful para sa confidence sa sarili
You respect people with special needs, at the same time ayaw mo na may representation sila?
12:12 exactly. Kailangan ng ingay para mapag-usapan. Mapag-usapan ang autism awareness and advocacy. At walang masama don. I'll take it anytime.
Hey commenters, if hindi kayo ang target market ng doll na to then just leave it alone. Wag nyo naman bastusin. Parents who are taking care of their ausome kids appreciate this at yung mga ginagawa ng mga toy companies to be more inclusive. Most of these kids are getting the "look" from people like you na judgmental. Just because it doesn't apply to you eh masama na kaagad ang comment nyo. Be kind people. Lucky you that you don't have to go through this.
I just can see how slow Philippines is in adapting to reality.
Reading the comments just prove other kababayans do not care about representation. No matter “mababaw” it may seem please think of other families how much they appreciate this.
Autism is some sort of behavioral disorder that many families struggle and understood by communities of course kaya nga accepted naman sa community as NORMAL kaya NOT NECESSARY na itong Doll for Autistic... We should help them act/do as NORMAL people do instead of showing their Indifference for having AUTISTIC Items din.. Eh di sana gawa na din ang Mattel ng PILAY, bulag etc na doll for each DISABILITY na lang... I do NOT WANT to buy my kid that specific doll & tell her "this is your doll kasi Autistic ka :(
It is not branding or identification. It is clear na you dont have a loved one with autism kasi ganun ang approach. The doll itself is a way of letting people know that there are people with autism who may look “normal” in the outside but face struggles. It is a way of representing these kids and a way for them to feel seen. People often see these kids and misunderstand their struggles because their disability is not outwardly seen.
Looking at the other comments, halata mong iisang tao lang ang “naumay”. Ladies, be socially aware please. Read a book, read an article na makabuluhan. Wag puro tiktok. Your ignorance is showing in your comments π€¦π»♀️ hayyy naku
If you have nothing good to say wag na lang magcomment. Sensya na di lahat perfect kagaya nyo. Kakasuka kayo.
It is a common thing for kids in the spectrum to use but it does not mean all that use it are in the spectrum. It is like common sense and the brain, just because you have it does not mean that you use it
jusko lahat nalang!!!!

ReplyDeleteOf course sa me pera at collection balewala kung mahalπππππππ€ππ
No hate but I'm assuming you're a neurotypical adult, so hindi ikaw ang target market diba? It's for neurodivergent girls.
DeleteI think may mas ibang purpose pa yan hindi lang laruin but inclusivity sa mga kids with autism.
DeleteSis, di ka naman sinasabihang bumili. Hindi rin ikaw target buyer.
DeleteUhm Okay
ReplyDeleteWe respect and salute these special people but no need this kind of representation.
ReplyDeleteConfusing ang statement mo. You respect people with special needs, at the same time ayaw mo na may representation sila?
DeleteOf course easy for you to say. Point of view mo yan. Maayos ka. Pero for them, its a big thing. And for the kids, its awareness
DeleteAgree! Sure it was done in good faith pero alam mo din na gumagawa lang din sila ng ingay para mapag usapan.
DeleteComing from someone na probably walang autistic family member or loved one. Who are you to speak about representation??
DeletePerfect kasi si ateng
Deleteand why not? you don't like autism awareness? cos it does not apply to you ganun ba? eh paano naman yung iba? mag-adjust sila for you?

Deleteshut up girl. just shut up
DeleteI love that! They incorporated yung TouchChat and fidget spinner - 2 things na meron din ang ausome na anak ko :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for that comment. I was wondering what those were and it's good na Mattel is bringing awareness and representation for this condition.
DeleteThis doll is another way to spread awareness and advocacy for autism. I love it.
ReplyDeletepano nalaman na autistic?
ReplyDeletefidget spinner and Touch Chat app
Deleteand noise cancelling ear muffs
Deleteparang may kamukha
Ika nga, lack of eye contact.

ReplyDeleteNakakalungkot ibang commenters dito. NAPAKA OUT OF TOUCH. Di ikaw ang market. Im neurodivergent. It’s for me. Kayo nakakaumay.
