As a mother, buying expensive stuffs such as jewelry is the least thing you could buy for yourself. I know she can afford but for what purpose? For show off? Wala naman syang masyadong ganap para magsuot pa ng mga ganyan.
Ive always wanted to buy one for myself too.. pangarap ko yang diamond ring. Hindi naman kelangan ifulfill yan ng iba para sakin o kanino man lalo na kung kaya naman bilhin. Besides, may bahay na sya naipatayo and am pretty sure may investments na din sya. Malamang natuto na yan kay maggie. Di ko man bet ang kaartehan ni S na feeling alta pero nakakahappy lang na may mga babae na nakakapundar o nakakabili ng bagay na gusto nila na hindi kelangan sa lalaki pa manggaling all the time. Tingan na lang din natin minsan ang mga ganto possitively para mabawasan ang pait sa buhay.
Teh, she used her own money to buy that ring. Pinagtrabahuhan niya, di niya ninakaw. Karapatan niyang gastusin ang pera niya the way she wants to. How dare you question her purpose for buying the ring??? Iba-iba tayo ng circumstances, priorities, and guilty pleasures sa buhay. Yung iba splurge on food, others on travel, some on bags and shoes. And there are those like Sofia who clearly love jewelry. Don’t diminish others’ splurging as show-off or kababawan…just because they don’t align with your wants and interests.
