Anne Curtis can pass as mid 20 something as long as alagaan ng director good angle ni Anne. Amy Adam portrayed Superman’s Lois Lane when she was 42 years old. Julia Roberts still doing romcom and she is already mid 50’s.
I wont. Di talaga bagay. Pang late 20's to early 30's yung character nung babae. (same sa lalaki kaya ok na si Josh) Yung may pagka naive pa and still establishing her career . Not someone who's in her 40s.
12:02am yung bobbie ni bea sa for sisters is same nung character at atake niya sa sayo lamang. Pati yung breadwinner panganay same atake ginawa din niya same same sa widow's war.
At same same din si basha ng one more chance at si mia ng miss u like crazy at si sari ng the mistress.

Anne is trying hard to act like a serious, intelligent woman but failed. While Joshua is giving that nonchalant vibe acting ala JLC or Paulo Avelino but failed as well. Si Carlos lang ang natural at top notch ang acting.
Hindi naman pina act si Song Hye Kyo ng younger than her age. Yung drama nila ni Park Bo Gum, mas matanda sya. Ganon dapat. Dapat pinag Something in the Rain na lang nila si Anne if paired with Josh!
Wow execution doesn’t even come close to the feel of the original. The original was whimsical, mysterious with a dark edge, like Edward Scissorhands. I think they should have gone full Philippines esthetic kesa trying na gayahin yung original. It looks mediocre, anne is a total miscast. Not just because of age but she doesnt have the mystery and depth while si joshua naman parang kulang sa ligo. Carlo naman OA.

Im a big fan of hers but i agree altho she could nail an intelligent smart role but not in this setting it would match if she was like a rich classy ceo or like a high society type character. Watching her movies and skme shows in the past years ive realized a rich wife / or a classy bratty heiress type of character matches . One character that would match her would be like a Fallon Carrington ! And also she has like that international star appeal/ presence and like a mystery thriller/ romance thriller drama would match her esp like they types with like Nicole kidman . Ughh theres so many good international thrillers that i wish the ph film industry would do to and she would slay those types roles esp like high society thrillers etc
Mukhang maganda ang production value and it looks like they are really mirroring the original. But when I see Anne I think of the celebrity and not the character. I love Anne but the original lead had such a deep voice.. complete opposite of Anne’s. But I will give it a try anyway cause I like the original series.

ReplyDeleteActually si Carlo lang ang maganda yung acting. Si Anne and Joshua very normal pinas level acting. Sa trailer pa lang wala ng impact. Bat kase hilig mag remake pero poor version yung ginagawa nila sa pinas. Di man na level up or atleast na timbangan yung actingan
ReplyDeleteAnne looks young for her age actually, they just paired her up with a guy who is totoy-looking kaya nagmukhang mag ate. Tamad lang talaga mag workout to si Joshua para magmukhang buff at manly.

ReplyDeleteI like Anne but the lead character has to be mysterious and scary to make the audience wonder if she’s the villain or not. Watched the trailer few times and it’s just not coming across. Hard not to compare because Seo ya-ji played the role so well.
ReplyDeleteGalit lang kayo kay Anne kasi at her age sobrang ganda at bata pa din tignan. At hindi yung idol nyo ang napili. Bagay kay Anne yan hindi sa kung sinong gusto nyo.
