Delete4:45 am, My opinion, we can reject anyone, if we don't have any romantic feelings for them but to "lead someone on" -- which means showing interest-- only to break their heart down the road -- because there is someone else -- i think that's really painful. It is also betrayal of trust between friends to be "lead on" because the two did not jump on with the courtship things immediately. They build a friendship for several years and talked about businesses, work etc.
DeleteOr maybe Kath's friends do not like him at all. And they tried to persuade her to date someone else or look for someone else. If we are attracted to someone else but your friend is attracted to you, just be honest with him and turn down his advances, so he can move on and find another girl that better suitable for him. Kasi naging mabait naman iyong tao sa kanya at sa mga kaibigan niya, inaalagaan naman siya during the entire time na magkasama sila.
